On September 17, 2023, Dr. Basu Eye Hospital, a renowned name in the field of Ayurvedic eye care, marked the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday by organizing a free eye camp. The event of complimentary eye check-up camp took place at the esteemed Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi and was organized by us in collaboration with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. With this event our hospital demonstrated commitment to holistic and accessible healthcare. This event aimed to deliver effective Ayurvedic eye care to individuals in need, underscoring Dr. Basu Eye Hospital’s steadfast dedication to the welfare of the community.

Eye Care Services and Awareness Campaign at Holy Bangla Sahib Gurudwara
The camp provided consultations, eye examinations, and the free distribution of eye medications to all individuals who visited the revered Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. This initiative also aimed to raise awareness about the importance of eye care, which had been previously lacking.

The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Mahendra Singh Basu, a recipient of the prestigious UP Ratna award and the esteemed founder of Dr. Basu Eye Hospital. Dr. Mandeep Singh Basu, a senior eye specialist and the Director of Dr. Basu Eye Hospital, played a pivotal role in conducting thorough eye examinations and diagnoses, drawing upon their extensive knowledge and expertise in the field.
This event also featured a dedicated team of 10 highly qualified and experienced Ayurvedic eye doctors, complemented by an additional 15 medical staff members from Dr. Basu Eye Hospital. In a remarkable demonstration of community engagement, the eye camp successfully provided essential eye care services to over 500 local beneficiaries.
